Summertime News The weather changes fast in this high mountain town, one minute its warm and sunny the next cold and rainy. I've been staying busy with art shows and general business and promotional events and filling orders for private customers, gift shops and the online store Margaritaville.com. In late June the ARTrageous Day of Art in Crested Butte at the Center for the Arts was a beautiful day featuring all types of art, including demonstrations, dance and a play. In July, my jewelry was worn by two models during a Fashion Show Luncheon at Maxwell's Restaurant in downtown Crested Butte for a benefit for the Center for the Arts! Thanks Melanie at Lavish and Jenny at the Center! One of my favorite bands Paul Thorn played in town a few weeks ago and he mentioned how much he missed his wife and girls and I wanted to thank him for sharing his music with us this summer and so I gifted him three necklaces for his girls at home and I have been enjoying his new CD Pimps and Preachers! I just donated a $70 Gift certificate to our local community radio station KBUT for their fund drive and look forward to working with the person who redeems it! You'll be able to choose something online and contact me for the details. The Crested Butte Farmer's Market has lots of great art and food and I'm always happy to participate on Sundays!
