Happy Mother's Day

Spring Greetings!

As Mother's Day approaches and I ponder motherhood I reflect on the many women I've known who had a role in influencing my life by their loving & caring manner. To those women who beautifully loved their own children, yet opened their hearts to love another's child I'd like to express my graditude. To those women who significantly cared for children they did not give birth to yet gave with all their heart I'd like to express my admiration.

My greatest blessing in my life has been to be a mom ... and then a step-mom which gave me the wonderful experience of being a grandma.

Greetings!

It's that time of year where you can just feel that Spring is approaching & although it's snowing outside my window as I write this, it is a soft snow that our spring break visitors are skiing in.

Ski season will soon be over & many of us are planning to enjoy some time by the ocean.

My jewelry work is inspired by shades of the mountains & the sea, vivid & muted & tropical brights as I re-stock my gallery displays filled with new fused glass & beaded gems ... and island designs for the Florida Keys.

It's that time of year when we start looking forward to the holidays so we can enjoy time with family & friends that we may not have the opportunity to visit throughout the year.

It's an exciting time filled with holiday festivities including parades and parties and visits with Santa. There is also much to do to prepare for all that enjoyment..stringing lights, decorating a tree, baking, and shopping for gifts.
